When you peruse through make-up brands, you'll probably notice that their selection of pinks, nudes and brights has no limits. You could probably hop from counter to counter and build a Pantone chart of these hues.
The lilac/purple tones tend to be forgotten.
I guess it's understandable as it's not exactly something that suits everyone (including me), but when I saw MAC's Notice Me product on a stand in House of Frazer, I didn't even think about it - I called someone over and within seconds this petal powered lipstick was in my clasp.
You'll probably laugh at reaction to such a simple colour but you have to admit that this kind of shade is pretty rare, even for MAC.
Notice Me has MAC's signature Lustre formula, which means it's a creamy, moisturising texture with a shiny finish. The lilac is powerful but it blends well on the lips. This shade also has enough pink that it's not as draining on lighter skin tones. The blue undertones do mean it suits cool skin colours a little more, but it's a brave enough shade for warmer skin tones to get away with it.

You'll like this if: you're bored of standard pinks and have a cool skin tone.
